Welcome

The Greater Memphis Chamber actively works to ensure that the City of Memphis, Shelby County, the State of Tennessee and the Federal government provide a business friendly environment for our citizens and community.  We do this by listening and working with our 2,300 members companies to shape public policy that impacts community and economic development.

Our Board of Directors established the Government Affairs Review Council (GARC) to serve as the advocacy arm of the Chamber and our members.  For each branch of the government, the GARC, with the approval of the Board, presents its legislative agenda to our elected officials.

Our voice in public policy is strong, and with your voice and action we are stronger.

This site is designed for you to keep abreast of legislation that could affect you, your business, your family and your community.

This site gives you the opportunity to contact your elected officials directly on key issues so you can share your views with the men and women who represent your interest.

You are in the best position to engage and educate them about how laws and regulations impact you.

This comprehensive site gives you fact-assessments of public policy and legislation.  It gives you the latest voting requirements, registration forms and information to learn more about the candidates running and the issues at stake.  It will keep you informed and most importantly, keep you involved.

Your voice matters and your vote counts.

President and CEO
